Queen. News of the World. Luckily, this record came to me with a huge scratch - or I would not have painted it. Because Queen is kind of.......shall we say.....sacred and awesome. Some records you just don't mess with. But this one was already a car ride away from the garbage, due to its unplayability. And now it's art. And it lives in San Francisco, with a handsome genius who I'm very proud to call my cousin.
A blog of my artwork, featuring mostly painted records and mandalas, using watercolor, acrylic, oil, and ink. My art pieces are generally in the psychedelic and abstract style. I also create functional art items.

Roulette at Tin Umbrella
This funky record now resides at the Tin Umbrella Coffee House, one of the best coffee houses south of I-90. I was fortunate enough to be invited to display my art there in March, and now this happy, floral paisley number is part of the permanent art collection there. Good coffee and good art go together timelessly.
