Guess what. I've been playing around with my Etsy shop that I started a few years back. I put a few listings up for sale and will gradually add more. You are cordially invited to take a look and make a purchase. Warning: There are things there besides records. Shhhhhhh.
Here is the link.

New Records by Rachro Shop on Big Cartel
Hi, everyone! I recently set up a Big Cartel store, to offer a few of my pieces. I hope you'll take a look and share the link. The site is where the actual art is sold (not "print-on-demand" products), so when you buy there you're buying the original pieces and not prints. If there's an available piece you would like to buy and it's not currently offered on the site, please message me privately through my Facebook page and I can probably make that happen. :)
Thanks for looking! Much appreciated.

I Took Myself a Blue Canoe and I Floated Like a Leaf
This is one of 2 fun records that I painted for a super-cool lady in Canada. She loves 80's pop, and also loves Sir Elton John. Presenting: Tumbleweed Connection in blue.

Now showing at the Hillman City Collaboratory
Some of my records are being shown in an installation at the Hillman City Collaboratory through the month of September, via the courtesy of Backstreet Bazaar, and my friend, the fantastic artist and muralist, Mr. Jake Millett. Thanks, y'all! The other art being shown is incredible, and I'm honored to be included with such impressive work.

The mind's true liberation
This record is The Age of Aquarius, by The 5th Dimension. Oh, I love this record. The song Aquarius has special meaning for me. I grew up singing and performing an "Aquarius medley" (in a musical theater group in my hometown of Houston) as a young teen many, many, many times. (Oh, the days of "medleys"...do theater people still do those?)
Thank you hippie people, for writing this awesome song from Hair, and letting The 5th Dimension record such a fabulous edition of it.
This record went to Colorado!

You, You........You
This record has fluorescent hot pink outlines. Wooooo! It used to be a Slim Whitman collection.
Songs on this side of the album include, "I'm Walking Behind You," and "You You You".
This record now belongs to the Ark Lodge Cinema.
Built in 1919, it was a former Freemason lodge and is now the super niftiest movie house in Seattle. One of my favorite places in the city.
Paganini Rhapsody
This record is unique, because I didn't choose it. It was sent to me with the request to paint it.
It was Rachmaninoff: Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini. It has lots of silver!
Leavin' on the Midnight Train to Georgia
This beautiful purple-violet-green gem toned painting was formerly Gladys Knight and the Pips! This was made for a strong and feminine gal, who is giving it to her own strong and feminine friend. Viva la woman! I think it came out super cool and I do love me some purple.
It's been a hard days night, y'all.
The Beatles' Reel Music, full of songs from their movies. Super purple and vibrant up close.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And now it lives in Austin!

Back in 2011...I got some glitter paint.
This record is secretly one of my favorites. The base is yellow and green with some intense green glitter. Topped off with some funky black. I was watching a lot of children's television programming when I painted this one.
Roger and the Frog
The botanical-inspired special request above has a hidden frog in it.
It currently lives in Massachusetts.

We could walk around all day long
Another vibrant 45, courtesy of John Cougar Mellencamp.
This was done in a flatter, non-glossy style as an experiment. Inspired by my incredibly talented friend, OneSevenNine, who is my favorite local artist and the coolest chick in all of Seattle, I'll tell you what.
Shoot that poison arrow
Super vibrant greens, blues, and brown on this ABC 45.
Although I was never a huge new wave fan, it takes me right back to the old 1982 MTV days of my youth. We high school freshman were the generation MTV was invented for. We watched it launch from the launchpad, followed by the Buggles. And now MTV isn't even MTV anymore and we are the demographic it couldn't care less about. Things change...
Sippin' on a cherry soda pop
Brandy, by The O'Jays. This record is pretty like shiny candy! It is one of my smaller paintings, done on a 45 rpm record.
What is Life?
Here is a record painted in honor of Ray Charles, one of my heroes. It hangs in an office now.
I had the privilege of seeing Ray Charles for my 11th birthday, at the now demolished Tower Theater in Houston. It was one of the biggest thrills of my life. Part of his encore included playing The Yellow Rose of Texas and the crowd went insane for it. You know how proud Texans are...
Eyes of the World
This Wake of the Flood record was specially requested for a Grateful Dead lover living in Portland, OR.
I really love how it came out.
